Rasmussen Center for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention

Affiliated with the world-renowned Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota, the Rasmussen Center offers a unique array of the latest, non-invasive diagnostic screening tools in detecting cardiovascular disease, identifying conditions that often go undetected but which can lead to heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, and kidney failure.

Adult Congenital and Cardiovascular Genetics Center

The Adult Congenital and Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic offers comprehensive cardiovascular care for persons over age 16 who were born with congenital cardiovascular anomalies that require ongoing evaluation and treatment in adolescence and adulthood. The program features a clinic hosted by experienced adult and pediatric cardiologists, a nurse coordinator and a genetic counselor.

Women's Heart Clinic

The Women's Heart Clinic at The University of Minnesota Medical Center is dedicated to the cardiovascular health of women throughout the region. The clinic brings research and technology together with personalized care to provide patients with excellent clinical services. Services include the most advanced methods of prevention and treatment to female patients, including evaluation and diagnostic imaging techniques specifically designed to identify problems in women.

Lillehei Clinical Research Unit

This innovative trials center conducts research in all aspects of cardiovascular disease and its prevention. We recruit study participants from Minnesota and nationally to help answer critical questions about new treatment modalities, innovative medical devices, and disease prevention strategies.
